Probably best to spend a few minutes with a test disc like AVIA II or Digital Video Essentials or GetGray or Monster ISF ...
They will get you much better results. This area of the forum is for people that care at least this much to get a better image.
Other areas of the forum are for those that don't care much at all about getting it right.
