Hey guys I am thinking about sending my UTV to Sony to get the tuners replaced although they are quoting me 3 WEEKS! That is totally ridiculous I think. I was just wondering if any of you guys have sent your units to Sony to get the tuners replaced? If so, how long did it take them? Please let me know ASAP I would like to get this sent out if I have no other option. Also, I talked to that guy at Truett electronics and he said he was pretty sure my problem was the tuners and he couldn't get them so he said I would have to send it to Sony. Anyways, if you guys have any other options please let me know. Thanks!

Just got mine back today, and Sony said they can't fix dead tuners. And the machine won't start up, so they screwed up something.


My advice is to live with the single tuner until we find a better fix.
