Do you hav the tools to terminate them with? Only reason I ask is that even Wire Companies farm these out and have their name stuck on them as it is a pain. This is one cable I wouldn't bother making myself but hey you might.

You might want to try www.partsexpress.com. I know they have all kinds of connectors but not sure about the raw TOS link connectors. They have some good quality cables (AR, Dayton) for good prices. The Dayton line is on sale until the end of this month. I got a 6 ft Dayton cable for $10.

Kenolle, I've used/done fiber termination before, and none of the kits I used would work on Toslink. It's a different beast than ST and SC.

Then again, it's been a while and maybe you have the right tools.


BTW, how's the weather been in Alton? I heard you guys got hit pretty well. We had marble sized hail in Fairview Heights.

Good luck finding what you need to try to do this.

well, im finding that the connectors are not easily found... looks like i'll have to re-think my install.. thanks for the replies. we didnt get any hail as far as i know.. no damage to any vehicles anyway. take er easy.. ken
