Title says it all. Please post system specs and codecs that you are using.

I'm trying to figure out what I need to do to get rid of the stutter. Here's my specs:

ASUS P4P800-VM

P$ 2.6GHz

512 RAM

ATI HDTV Wonder

Radeon 9550 w/ component adapter

Catalyst 4.10

NVDVD 4 (TheaterTek)

Also tried WinDVD6 and DScaler 5

Athlon XP 2500

nvDVD recent release

HDTV Wonder

FX 5200 -> stuttering in MCE, plays OK with WMP 10

Added Radeon 9800 Pro -> stuttering gone.

MCE has higher requirements to the graphics card due to.. I don't know exactly. I have been told it runs in DirectX full-screen and I speculate it uses the graphics card's horsepower for deinterlacing and scaling.

Do you have a 9550 SE? These are crippled by their 64-bit memory bus. I'd try a 9600 Pro.

AIW 9700pro

eHome Wonder (x2)

HDTV Wonder

ASUS A7N8X Deluxe

512 MB of Kingston PC3500 DDR Hyper X

AMD Mobile Barton 2300MHz

Catalyst 4.10

ATI DVD Decoder

Stutter free with my rig. Just got it set up, and am pretty pleased so far. I already had the ATI decoders, so I went with them and they seem to be working OK. I tried recording 2 analog and 1 DTV at the same time...excellent. All 3 came out nice, good PQ and sync. The EPG is excellent, and the skip mode is great.

I've also found that while my analog tuner from HDTV Wonder, and the tuner from the AIW aren't supported in MCE, they both work with Amcap, so I'm assuming any Direct Show application.
