anyone here have the white line fixed on their Toshiba?

Some guys in Canada are reporting over at the Spot that they have had the white line fixed on their set. I contacted my service center, and they had never heard of a fix. Has anyone here in the US had any luck at getting theirs fixed?

nope as far as i know there is nothing they can do about it.

At "The Spot" there is detailed info on how they fixed it. It has something to do with placing a jumper wire between to diodes or something. It even gives the #'s of the parts the jumper goes between. I still can't see the white line on mine. It has been verified by Toshiba at least in Canada that it is a problem and can be fixed using this jumper.
