I live in Wesley Chapel (south of Weddington), so I'm definitely on the other side of town. No home theater, just a room set up for movies. With two girls and one on the way, my room is set up for playing as much as anything else. You might want to drop a line in the Charlotte, NC - TWC forum. Those guys are pretty active and might be interested in HT meets. A few live on the north side of Charlotte IIRC.

I am in the Matthews/Mint-Hill area right off 485. Also, ebr is a frequent poster who lives in Mooresville. My HT has been done for several years now - can check it out in the Members Gallery. Love to hook up with any of you to visit your HT or show you mine.

Just found this thread. Glad to see there are so many HT folks in the Charlotte area.

GndPrx, I am in Fort Mill as well. Been here about a year now and in the framing stage for the basement. I plan on working down there a lot this weekend as the wife and kids will be out of town so I have the house to myself. I will be framing the ceiling for the main basement. I need to finish my framing so I can get lights installed and everything inspected.

Anyone feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

John
