Anyone installed a Mizzico Wall Unit?

I was wondering if anyone had installed a Mizzico Wall Unit. I asked a question about wall mounting a plasma in a rental apartment above the fireplace and got some suggestions, but this looks like it would require the least amount of drill and cutting.

Maybe if I attach a picture people will be more interested.

The wall unit looks much too wide, especially for a fireplace.

But, the first link with step by step instructions is interesting to see how they install it.

isnt it a very bad thing to lay a plasma flat like that, from what i understand the glass of the plasma can crack under the wieght in that position... if i am wrong about this please tell me, because i am about to do a similar install with a lauriel plasma table. it would be much easier to mount if i can put it flat like that....
I thought it might be too wide. It seems however that it would be easy to make one of these as a do it yourself project or have one made.

Although it's odd to see the plasma flat, it can be laid that way without damage. Just do it carefully! The Panasonic mounting instructions has you lay it face down.

The instructions for placing the NEC VR5 onto the table top stand also instructs the owner to play the panel face down onto a towel (I believe it's face down, maybe face up. /shrug).

I think the main reason NOT to do so, is because during transit, a bump in the road will put a lot of stress on the glass panel whereas just laying it down isn't so bad.

That said, I avoided putting my panel onto the stand just because.
