I am wondering if anyone knows about, or has dealt with, UEC Web?


They are a Hitachi authorized company that resells refurbished Hitachi products. I am looking for a RPTV, and they seem to have some pretty good deals. They have the standard 30 day warranty, and an optional extended service plan.


Per their website, they indicate that these are "Hitachi Refurbished products (i.e. they have been refurbished to Hitachi's quality standards and are fully operational), and may have cosmetic imperfections that in no way detract from the performance or safety of the product"


Any opinions would be most appreciated.

I ordered one in Jan 2003. A 51uwx20B. Arrived in absolutely new

condition. One year later, still no problems, Didn't get the extended

warrenty, jus a little too much for my pocketbook at the time



The prices on their website are actually cheaper this year than last

year.


Price wise you cant beat it.


Bottom Line, one year later I am still very satisfied and would not

hesitate to purchase from them again.
