Im using an iMon Pad remote control. I'm looking for a cheap and simple IR re-emitter that "blasts" the IR signal in a different "area" of the room.

Would the below device work for me? As far as I can tell, it looks like it only uses a tiny "stick on" emitter that needs to stick directly onto the IR receiver of the device I'm controlling (which is NOT what I'm looking for).

Could someone please suggest a simple product that would work for me?
Thanks,

Thanks for the reply. Isn't that basically the same thing as the other stick-on IR emitters? In the description in says, "all four transmitter bulbs, which should be placed over the IR "eye" on each of your components"... which is what I DON'T want to do. I want just a single emitter that's capable of blasting the signal; similar to the blaster component the USB-UIRT interface used on PCs.

I used a system like shown in the amazon link with out attaching the emitters to the devices, I have them a few feet away and it works no prob. I'm not sure how far they transmit.

I use something like this http://www.amazon.com/Terk-Leapfrog...eo-accessories&ie=UTF8&qid=1427494550&sr=1-14 to control my receiver and AV equipment that sits behind me. (a projector doesn't lend itself to putting the equipment in the front of the room)

Mine are old Zenith and RCA units. You don't have to use the plug-in LEDs on the extension cables. I put the receiver on the center speaker and the transmitter on the sub woofer. Aim at the screen and the signal gets returned to the equipment. Just be careful that a reflection doesn't feedback the transmitter to the receiver.

You can put the transmitter almost anywhere. They are usually intended for room to room control.
