You mean the THX reference master volume for Denon receivers such as the AVR-2805? I'd like to know myself. I doubt it's 0, because that just would be way too loud, IMHO.

You should be calibrating your system, so that when the dial is set to zero, your system is playing reference level.

There is no such thing as what you are asking.

Referance level is in general consider 75db or 85db. Many varibles will affect how loud your system is at a given volume level -- speaker size and room to be the biggies.

Search the forums for threads on calibrating your system. Generally what you want to do is set the receiver to 0 and use either the receivers tones test or Avia to adjust the channels level up or down till you achieve 75db.

Oh, and referance level is too loud for most people.
