Hi all....

I get KUASDT 27-1, 27-2. According to Titan-TV I should also get

18-1 and 40-1. I can get 40-1 but have never seen a Digital signal yet.

I gather the transmitter on Mt Bigelow only has a foot print that covers greater Tucson. Anyone live in Catalina?

Thanks....

Sorry all... This was to go to the Tucson, Arizona HDTV Thread....

I think you probably have mountain issues in Catalina. Unless you can see the tower lights on Mt. Bigalow, I doubt you are going to be getting those stations OTA.

I am at Speedway and Harrison, and receive KVOA-23, KOLD-32, KGUN-35, KMSB-25, KUAT-30 and 19 (what you are calling 18) with an powered indoor antenna.

I am not bragging, but it turns out my decision, many years ago, to live on the Eastside is paying off right now.

Do you have cable in Catalina? Comcast will eventually have HD, but not anytime soon. Cox, in the city, is on the verge of going HD. Cox will not have the local HD stations initially but will after a few months of negotiating.

You could go the DirectTV or Dish route, but you won't get the networks....and won't for a very long time.

Thanks Jibby......

I do have Directv HD.... It is great... There are about seven

channels in HD.

I am still looking for the A Mountain (I think) stations KTTU-DT

18-1 (UPN) and KHRR-DT 42-1 (TEL) . Antenna Web says they have a

compass orientation of 202 degrees at my location.

As far as Mt Bigelow goes there transmitter may not radiate 360 degrees to cover Catalina...
