For the past two weeks, when my local ABC station throws the switch for NPYD Blue, my center channel speaker goes out. I have to switch to analog input and use Dolby Pro-Logic to get it back. This is the only time that has happened, and only on that show. Don't know if it is a network problem, local station, or me. Anyone else experience this?

NO problem on NYPD audio in Dallas. Ck with your local station and 5.1 audio. They use 3 AES streams to make up the 5.1 and center is on AES2 along with the LFE signal.

JStigler, Thanks for the technical information. I will shoot an inquiry to the engineer at that station, and ask him what he can tell me about the problem....

when you have that center channel problem - try retuning the abc affiliate and giving your receiver a chance to relock on the 5.1 audio.
