...eh..hem...not that I'm interested in this sort of thing, but they had a segment on a new Jenna Jamison (who's that?!) movie that they recently filmed using the same cameras G. Lucas used for E2.

Of course....I was interested purely for the technical aspects of the article.

Sorry if this was posted on another thread...did a search and didn't find it.

Did the idiots at TechTV do their usual slamming of HD as a overpriced ripoff of the American public? They are just plain pathetic!

It was actually a pretty good segment that focussed more on how the porn industry is so quick to adapt to the latest technology - home video, then internet, then DVD, and soon HD. Had some nice clips of them filming the HD movie :)

You would think the hosts of Tech TV would be used to being ripped off after leaving in the San Fran for so long. It's not exactly cheap reality.

It's too bad we are made to feel guilty on this forum for making a post or have to worry about it being deleted and not answered because someone has asked a similar question or made a similar statement. If one does a good job with the subject most will know if it is something which might interest them. Now I personally tend to read them all as this one had no particular interest to me. But others will pick and choose so no need to feel guilty in my book.

No it's not.

With the volume of info flowing through here, members should at least make an attempt to determine if an existing topic covers their questions or is the appropriate place to make a comment. The easiest way to do this is to look over the past few days topics, or do a search, before starting a new topic. Assuming this is the case, I agree that it's a no harm, no foul situation.

I only wish all members would follow this simple guideline.

A tip of the AVS hat to TMBUTCH for the consideration.

The only thing I remember in another post when Mark Cuban was interviewed on TechTV the subject of adult content came up. Mark stated that HD might be a little bit too revealing for that type of content. However he mentioned that they had talks with the likes of the owner of "Girls Gone Wild" and the possibility of that type of HD channel. Superdish anyone?

Now that the owner of "Girls Gone Wild" was arrested, it would be interesting to see if he, or someone else could will provide that kind of content.
