Hi,
I have seen a 300link @IFA in Berlin roughly three weeks ago and also had the pleasure to test drive it for two days at my studio.
Important: It was only a prototype, not the final version of the link. So I don't want to mention any flaws that I saw as I am convinced the problems will be solved in the final version.
Pluses:
- Slighly more contrast than the HT300+ which still is my reference pj
- Perfect @48/50Hz via DVI
- In comparison to the HT300+ VERY quiet
- Nice feature of course: the digital optical input box/external electronics already know from the RTX 45/55 rear projection systems
We'll see what the final version of the link will add to that list.

The model I saw was much the same as Christoph describes, but apparently Sim has implemented a few hardware changes and firmware upgrades since, so the initial flaws have been removed I would think.
Still a great picture though.

The Link I saw was in here in the UK (RTFM had has one), sorry if it sounded as though I'd seen the same one as you.
It sounds as if they were very similar, and the minor niggles couldn't be seen during normal DVd playback, only in one or two test patterns.
I'm looking forward to an opertunity to see the finished product, as Sim certainly seem to know how to make a pj.

My German isn't very good, but does improve with alchohol apparently (a holiday in the Canary Islands a few years ago revealed that).
