This is a G20 with a shorter throw. I think that the "M" is a medium throw, and the "S" or "C" are the short throw lenses.


Yes, this should look every bit as good as a G20.

It looks as if there are two basic models, L and SC. SC - Super Contrast.

I wish it were a G20 with a different lens, that would sure make life a lot simpler. It's not, though. More like a G20 with lens purchased separately, but that's not all. It has new software, and a new "simplified" menu, and therein lies the problem, or at least one of them - you can't manually set it to, for example, SXGA3. If you can't feed it the signal it needs to "go native", you're stuck, at least until JVC figures out what to do about this, if anything...


It also has the new zone shading, and some new rs232 protocols...


(I have one here for testing and evaluation at this time. Initial C/R is dismal, about 215:1!)
