I was in at costco in so cal today and saw a the 42 inch HD ready plasma for $4600.00. Has anyone seen this?

I have one. It is a good set. PQ is great. Very flexible inputs except that it lacks DVI and is said to be non-upgradeable. Appears based on the 433CMX. So, the questions is...Why not get a 433CMX, which is upgradebale? If you don't need the speakers or stand, that would be the way to go. 433CMX can be found for about $900 less than Costco price. You can get a stand for $30-200. Costco advantage - if you aren't happy, you can return it.

Our Costco has the Pioneer PDP-5040HD. It looks very nice.

5050HD in NorCal too. Funny, I can go to 2 Costcos 20 miles apart and see different plasmas. One store has a pile of Vizio and Akai, the other has some 5040HD, Maxent, Akai.

The Beaverton Costco has the 5040 @ 7.5k no sales tax in OR.

I've not seen them on the east coast Costco.
