This is one title that I didn't acquire in SD and am looking forward to buying next week.

Has anyone had the chance to get a sneak peak at it?

Thanks Art!

Ever since I started this thread I've had the theme tune to The Sting popping into my head. Can't wait to rediscover this one.

Also looking forward to whatever treasures might be revealed in the Vancouver HD-DVD presentation.

Capek: Of course Art's only response to you would be to brush his nose with his finger and give you a sly grin (it's been so long since I saw this movie that I can't recall if they used one finger or two for that gesture).

The 2 disc Legacy release in 2005 looked excellant so I would expect this release to offer an improvment on that somewhere on the same scale that American Werewolf in HD offered an improvment over the SE DVD.

However, since more of the film contains scenes with higher APL than AWIL, and since it employs a less grainy film stock, we probably won't have to suffer thru so many "worst HD disc ever!" posts.
