Anyone use Dipole surrounds with taller/vaulted ceilings?

I am having a house built with 2-story ceilings in the family room where the HT is going to placed. Will dipole surrounds diffuse too much with the ceilings being 19ft tall? Would direct radiating speakers be better with tall ceilings? I am going to probably buy Paradigm Cinema 330 for the mains, and Paradigm recommends using their dipole models for the surround. I wish Paradigm offered surrounds that could be dipole or bipole with a flick of a switch like some other brands do.

I have the same issue. I talked to my local distibuter regarding the Paradigm ceiling speakers. He didn't think mounting them in the celing was a good idea. He recommended wall mount or pedestal surrounds.
