If you use this combo, could you measure the distance from the center of the pipe to the back edge of the Pearl? I would GREATLY appreciate it.

I am trying to figure out where I need my mount the ceiling plate. Also, does any heat come out of the back of the Pearl? I need to mount the Pearl as far back as possible because I am going 2.35 CIH soon after installation and need to use the longest throw possible.

My AVS recommended Chief mount for the Pearl measures 10 1/2 " from the back to the center of the pipe. The Pearl needs about two feet behind it to breathe. The 12 inch pipe causes a 14" drop with 18 inch drop to the center of the lens on a horizontally mounted Pearl.
