Anyone use the Paradigm SA-15R-SM?

3005 Views 3 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  cybrsage
I cannot find any reviews on the Paragidm SA-15R-SM. I have a short wall behind my loveseat (about 5 ft wide), which is also about 5 ft beind the loveseat.

I currently have a Paradigm Cinema CC as the center rear in a 6.1 system. I was thinking of replacing it with a SA-15R-SM to create a 7.1 system, but not sure how well it will work.

The closest Paradigm dealer to me is 2 hours away, so going just to listen is a huge pain.

Thanks for any info you can provide

Though I would rather have some reviews first, I suppose I will have to run out there and hear them without reviews.

I will call first, to ensure they even have some to listen to.

I haven't heard that speaker and to be honest no one knows how it will sound once it's in your wall or ceiling. A demo at a dealer isn't really going to approximate what it may sound like at your home.

Also, I can't recall anyone using a single stereo speaker in the manner you want to. I can't say thats it's a bad idea though. Give it a try.

Have yet to run out and hear one for myself. A bit of money for the speaker, especially if it does not work as expected.
