I've seen that Fry's is selling the Bayside Soundpanel for $99. Not many details available as the item number doesn't come up on their website, and googling doesn't return much either. Maybe someone here has one and can comment? I'm sure it's not going to be awesome given the price, but I'm wondering if it's passable if I just want a cheap upgrade for my Samsung LCD's speakers.

Bayside Wave Corp. is the manufacturer. They are located in Fremont, CA and thus very close to Fry's headquarters. Google "Baysidewave.com"

The website is quite hokey and doesn't give you much information. From the manuals I saw on the site, I would guess that this is not a native English speaking group. No information on the Soundpanel.
