I was wondering if there are any other forum members who use Sony's PVM line of monitors for watching TV/Video at home? I have been using a 27" PVM 2950Q for a few years to watch TV and anamorphic DVD (the PVM does the 16:9 squeeze), and while the picture quality is fantastic, I would like to get into the service menu and fine tune the geometry a little more. Can anyone tell me if they have access to the PVM service codes?

Thanks.

Used to have the PVM3230 32 inch professional monitor which I drove with a Dwin VC5 via the RGB input.

(Still have the Dwin and the JBL-Harmon TC-1 which I would be happy to sell).

NTSC PQ was completely unsurpassed.

I now use the Panasonic DT-M3050W HD broadcast monitor as most of my content is now HD.

But the Sony is still far superior for NTSC.

By the way, service access on these Sony's is a *****.

The great thing about the Dwin was RGB levels and thus color temperature could be set from the Dwin itself.
