I'm anxiously awaiting the HD Tivo, like everyone else, and I'm wondering if anyone out there would rent me an HD receiver for a month? I'm partially interested in having one for the superbowl, but I'm most interested in the Oscar telecast.


I'd obviously pay for shipping w/ insurance, as well as a fair price. If anyone was considering selling theirs on eBay, you could make a few bucks off it before hand!

You should locate the Norfolk area HDTV discussion in this forum somewhere. Someone nearby might be willing to loan you theirs without having to worry about shipping. I think there are people there who have two tuners and might be willing to part with one for a while. I'd loan you mine, but it IS 120 miles; a bit far for me. Plus I might be showing a neighbor what HDTV can do.
