I missed the LT150 frenzy - got a price of ~2600 when I called Dell yesterday. Anyone who has multiple LT150's coming who would be willing to sell one?

I ordered 2. Whether I get them or not remains to be seen.

I won't sell it at the Dell price, but I might sell it at the Dell price + $50 or so. I've already promised it to a friend, but I've got to get it first and he has to decline.

I ordered two and was charged $1770 plus tax with free shipping.

I've promised to hang onto one for Mark Hunter until he can make a determination if he will be able to perform calibration on it. If so he wants to buy it to have for a test machine. Right now it's in doubt whether calibration is possible.

If he doesn't need it Ill be happy to pass it along to someone for the exact amount I have in it.

since E-bay is very much a internet spece, it is subjet to the terrifically short response time frames of internet life. The effect of ths 'dump price' has already begun to show up in e-bay LT-150 pricing, and small PJ pricing overall.

Sure, Todd. Be glad to. But by the time I receive it I'm guessing eBay will have become a dumping ground for these things. So I wouldn't expect to realize much profit from that. I'm right now seeing almost exactly the same thing happening with two other consumer electronics items. Even though only a couple or three dozen of these were put in the hands of eBay sellers (I was one of them) I've tracked about a 30% decrease in final bid price over a two week period.

eBay is a huge marketplace. It can absorb a large amount of product but even eBay has it's limits.

I posted about a week ago that I was interested in purchasing a spare if anyone had one. I had a few answers including a couple of offers, one of which I accepted. Given the current situation and demand for this projector I'm doubting that the deal will happen. http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/frown.gif

However, I should make it clear that I don't blame the seller for wanting to make the most of this situation.

I'm willing to go to $2200, so if anyone is seriously interested in selling at that price please send me an email.

Thanks.

Honorable replies to say the least. +$50 from smchan and Bob willing to take what he has in the unit?? We really do owe a lot to the creators of this board but its ongoing greatness is without a doubt a credit to its members who are willing to pass along opportunities like this to other members rather than shooting it off into ebay space for a profit. Way to go guys.

I've received a number of emails asking for the Dell +$50 price I said I might offer. Gang, I still don't have either of the 2 projectors I ordered and my extra is promised to another fellow if he wants it. (He's yet to say but I don't think his wife is going to go for it.)

More and more, I'm thinking an essay contest would be fun for the option to purchase my extra projector (in which case the price is my cost + shipping to you). Keep in mind that I had to pay 6% sales tax on mine due to living in NC.

EDIT: Update... Dell called and is saying my 2nd one is delayed but should ship August 10th and offered to cancel and give a refund. I kept the order live in case any of you guys still want it (and I actually receive it).
