I have a remote that comes with Kenwood A/V receiver. It is bi-directional (IR) meaning the display panel on the remote also receivers signals from the amp to display volume levels, tone controls, etc.
Amp is situated in back of HT behind a curtain so I use the X10 IR/RF transmiter/receiver (ie. the pyramids). Because of two way capability I purchased a second sent of pyramids and place them opposite of the other set (ie one transmitter and one receiver in the front of HT and the other two are behind the screen.
Doesn't want to work as I believe the signals are confusing each other.
Any thoughts on getting this to work or are there other solutions out there.
I have considered get another pair of xmit/rcrvr from a different company thinking the frequencies would no conflict.
