Anyway to upgrade a HDTV to have a DVI Input?

I have a Mitsubishi WS-55411 and I was wondering if there is going to be anyway to upgrade the unit with a DVI input for future interconnectivity. Mitsubishi states in there "Thank You Letter" that there HDTVs will be compatible with future advances in digital television at a reasonable cost.

I would guess not since Mitsubishi does not equip its TVs with DVI, but rather HDMI.
Ok........either or will do, but that doesn't help any.
A couple of years ago, Mits came out with its Promise Module, an attachment to the rear of the TV, that included a digital OTA tuner and a Firewire port. I believe there was an updated module as well. I'm not sure Mits is still producing these. The original PM did not have an HDMI port. Your best bet is to call Mits directly and see what is now available. Good luck!
Since it is a CRT based TV there would not be any noticable imporvement in PQ by providing a DVI or HTMI interface in addition to its 3 component interfaces. Future available enhancements are much more likely to be in regards to ATSC tuners and cable card capabilities which also would not require a comnplete reworking of some of the internal electronics.
Well, I am not worried about the future of HD broadcast, but I am worried about the future in regards to HD-DVD and BLU-Ray Discs and the players. From what I hear they will not support HD over component, which is not good for me or anybody else that bought HDTV over the past couple of years before DVI and HDMI and other digital connections.
