Well, this is kinda strange and I wonder if any of you out there may perhaps have seen something similar. IT was working O.K. until recently. Only thing I can think of that might have changed it is that I downloaded a ccf for my pronto for power dvd that had an audio button that I mashed testing it out. (had the volume down so not sure if this was the cause or came after it was allready having problems. (My wife had told me that it had an issue prior, but sometimes she just does not have the right buttons pressed down as I do not have it very user friendly yet, thus the pronto...)

1st off, my system info: I am using a AMD T-bird chipset around 1 ghz. I am using a DVD ROM (not sure of make) and power DVD 3.0 running XP. I am using just the digital out to go to my receiver (JVC RX-884). I watched many movies on this and had no problems, but now I am not getting any sound from the center channel (thus no voices) for DVD playback. Media Player is working O.K. on CD's, but then they do not use the center channel. The other DVD S/W player I had did the same thing. Now before we think it is in the receiver, my DBS has digital out and goes right into the receiver and there are no issues with it. Come to think of it though, I have only watched pro-logic stuff since this issue and should try a pay per view or HBO DD show on it. All 5.1 channels light on the receiver indicating it is getting the stream. I have run the test tone and all peakers are working.. I guess I am stumped.

Any ideas on what else to check? I am suspicious of my AP 24/96 setup as I was not sure how to set this up and ended up doing a trial and error method until I finally got an output.
