app(s) to watch video through Capture card?

I have a StarTech PEXHDCAP2 Capture Card with component cable hooked up from my cable box. Which app(s) will let me view the content? (capturing content is not a priority). NOTE: my pc is running Windows 10.

So you want to view the content from the capture card? I'm familiar with gaming capture cards, but it depends on the card itself.
The only thing that will work is the app from the capture card maker, I'm afraid. Unless the capture card presents itself as a web cam. Can't think of any other standard way to do this. Who still buys capture card these days:)

Agreed. The 'Stream Catcher' software that came with this specific card from StarTech works ok. I was just curious what other software people might be using.

I use my pc monitor for most day to day viewing in my small apartment. I have a separate system (projector, screen, receiver, ...) for watching movies or sports (like the 0-3 Jets :) ).

Yeah, I don't see much traffic for capture cards these days..
