Apple Music Hardware

Something I've noticed at various hi-fi shows and related events (T.H.E. Show, CEDIA, the high-end audio rooms at CES) is the relative paucity of audiophile-oriented gear that supports Apple Music directly (rather than via AirPlay). I'm thinking here of the sorts of devices you'd find in a 2-channel setup with no television, with stereo gear form factors. Most of them directly support some combination of Tidal, Pandora, Spotify and/or Amazon Prime Music, but not Apple Music.

A minor issue with this is the market miss in that all of the demos at these shows are run on these other platforms, but that's pretty small beer. I do find it interesting, though, that neither Apple nor the hardware manufacturers seem to think of this as a missing feature in the ecosystem, especially now that Apple is offering lossless streaming which, AFAIK, is not supported over AirPlay.

Am I off base here? Are there any stereo-oriented streaming devices that have Apple Music built in (so that I don't need to have my TV attached, as with an Apple TV box, or use an external device to stream to the player)?

I believe apple has stated the lossless streaming will come to AirPlay in a future update (probably iOS 15)

That would be awesome, and will do the trick for many people, but I still think there's an interesting market gap in non-Apple hardware that can be used for streaming Apple Music.
