I have an opportunity to get the Aragon Stage One from an authorized dealer for around $2500.00 new. How does this compare with other pre/pros in this price range? I know it is missing a few items but the sound is pretty nice. How would it compare to the high end receivers from Denon (5803) and B&K 507 or the Pioneer 49TXi. Thanks for your input.

Has this Stage One been through the latest upgrade, or is it the older unit? Without the upgrade, it is definitely not worth it. With the upgrade, that is a good deal and I would be quite tempted. You might also check out the Integra DTC 9.4.
