I just bought TV Panasonic TX-L42ET60E (supporting ARC functionality).

I already have AV Amplifier Yamaha RX-V575 (also supporting ARC functionality).

I have connected them together with two different HDMI 1.4 cables (to exclude cable problem).

Yamaha (HDMI OUT) ---------- Panasonic (HDMI2 ARC)

I have configured Yamaha according to instructions from the manual and I was able to hear voice coming from TV on Yamaha (I was also able to control Yamaha from TV remote control).

At that time I was happy that it was so simple.

Next day when I turn on my TV and AV I realised that is no longer working as it should (no voice on Yamaha).

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

I have try few things to fix it. The only thing which helps for a while is changing ARC setting on Yamaha OFF and ON again. But when I switch TV OFF I still have problem with it.

Any advice for me?

In addition on both devices I have newest available firmware.

The order in which devices power up can make a difference. Try to vary the order to see if you can find one that works consistently. Otherwise, use an optical connection between the tv and receiver. That should work all the time.
