I am using the Sherborn 7/2100. I think its one of the best bang/buck amps available. It lists for $3000 and is 7x200.

Just curious since there are Arcam pre/pro users here. Single global crossover, or "individual" settings for different (sets of) speakers?

Single global. But you can have multiple single crossovers for different functions.

In the Arcam AV8 FAQ they explain why they believe independent bass/treble controls for each channel provide a better solution than individual crossover settings. You can find the FAQ at:
