I recently purchased an Arcam P-1000 multi-channel amplifer and I am having some hum/buzz problems. Does anyone here use this amp and, if so, any similar problems?


I always figure hum/buzz is a ground loop problem, but all of my efforts with this amp have been in vain - plus the buzz is not a 60hz. hum, so not sure what is going on.

Yes, first thing I did. Then I floated the ground on the amp. then I unplugged every other component in the system. No change!


If I remove all of the RCA interconnects from the amp, the buzz goes away, but reconnecting them - even with all the other cmponents unplugged - returns the buzz.


Very strange.
