I am looking to purchase a DVD recorder with HDD with one requirement being to archive my old VHS home videos and music videos. I would like to transfer onto DVD-R (for playing in other DVD players) and would like to be able to insert chapters throughout the recorded DVD at the beginning of each "scene" or each music video clip. I would like to be able to edit the names of the chapters to make finding specific scenes or songs easy.
I am looking at the Toshiba RD-XS32, Sony RDR-HX900 and the Pioneer 520H. Can anyone tell me whether these models will allow such chapter editing onto a DVD-R?
