Arcsoft TMT play everything in VMC

Can I make vista media center play all files via TMT ?

For example, all m2ts play with TMT, all iso's with TMT, all mkv's with TMT.

Is such a thing possible ?

I'm interested in this too. The problem I am having is trying to play AVCHD files from a Canon HF-100 over component video output.

If I try playing them in Media Center, they look OK over HDMI but badly tear and deinterlace problems on the component out. If I play the same file in Arcsoft TMT, it plays much better over component. I used the Media Center Decoder Utility to try to force the Arcsoft video codec for Media Center but the problem persists.

Blu-ray plays back fine by the way over component, it's just these darn AVC-HD files.
May I ask the steps to get to media center decoder utility?
Yes, you can play all video formats in VMC. Even without TMT.

Haali Media Splitter

AC3filter

radlight filter manager - to change the merit values of your codecs so the ones you want used are used and the ones you don't, aren't

graphedit - to see what video files are using what codecs

coreavc for software decoding of avc

you can use the TMT codec or powerdvd codec for HA decoding of avc

Well to play ripped blu-rays you don't need those players. I haven't tested with the actual discs but I imagine with anydvd installed to break the copy protection it may be possible. Someone else would need to chime in here.
