Hi, does anyone have any experience using Arduino as a processor for home automation (lights, sound levels, locks, remotes, Whatever) ?

If so, what did you do!?

I have an old Arudio sitting around that I'd like to do something interesting with but just want some ideas!

Thanks...

Hey....Not full automation but I have a bathtub filler with an arduino uno thru a simple output from my Lutron Lighting. Basically a servo to close the drain, a mixer valve to solenoid to fill, a metering pump to add sudz, and level is controlled by a hall effect flow meter with timer back-up. Plan to add a small LCD screen to monitor the operation and a uart shield to get rid of the lutron hardwired connection. What kinda ideas were you thinkin' of?
