Asking specifically about dvd recorders without hard drives. Had a couple of Dish Network dvr's and that were both pretty noisy. Interested in a dvd recorder, but not if they are in the same noise range.

My E85 doesn't make that much noise.....especially not compared to my Comcast DVR. The Comcast DVR is LOUD.

My Pan E85 makes about as much noise as a vcr-maybe a little quieter. Obviously, when the tv's on, it can't be heard.
