Mixed bag. Some of these units are stil plauged by a BTB bug over this configuration. Some manufacters, like Onkyo, have put out patches that eliminate BTB bugs, but we're talking about on a unit that's far more than $200.
If you decide to make a move on a HDMi-DVI situation, research it like hell first, just to be safe.
If I am not mistaken, Apex will be coming out with a few DVI upscaling players in April. They will also be capable of playing WMV-HD and DivX-HD files, as well as video files made with Nero's codec. If you can wait, you may want to see how they compare to other DVI players out there.
I know how many people react when they see the brand name "Apex", but I am keeping an open mind and I'm very interested in how these players will turn out. One player will be network capable, and I'm wondering how it will compare to my Momitsu V880N.
