I often see great photos of dedicated home theater but these are rather larger home theater room. Are there any small room dedicated home theater?


I am thinking of converting a 17'x12' room into a dedicated home theater but I don't know if it is big enough.

I wouldn't consider that small. I think that is about the same size (or bigger) than my first media room. You can work with that for sure. You may have to be a little creative with seating (depending on how many seats) and you may have to pick appropriate speakers (no towers in the rear, for example), but you can do it. Check a few threads in the dedicated section and see, but I bet there are a few rooms with similar dimensions as yours.
