I understand the picture quality is, well I guess realistic is the word.

The sound? Can't say.

Now Robert, are you trying to stir up trouble again?

I think any movie is fair game for discussion as long as the topic is actually the movie... ;)

Edit - and of course this post is off-topic, and therefore the beginning of the end for this thread... :p

I'm just some old man sitting in a lazy boy recliner equipped with an electric massaging motor, Sean, and sipping on a cold glass of iced tea. I'm no trouble to any living thing. And only rarely trouble to inanminate objects.

I'm not the trouble. The trouble was once described by the soundtrack of a different movie. Went like this...

Ya got trouble, my friend, right here,

I say, trouble right here in River City...

...Yes, we've got trouble, trouble, trouble

Oh, yes, we got trouble here, we got big, big trouble

With a 'T'

With a capital 'T'

Has there EVER been another film with a 100% rating on RT?*

*I do suppose there's got to be a reviewer somewhere out there that's associated with FOX that's going to kill this 100% soon enough, obviously with a "fair and balanced" ( ) critique.

I would love to comment on this movie, but my post would just be deleted and nothing around here pisses me off more...

Gotta watch that blood pressure. ;)
This (100% positive on RT!) would be a great double feature along with "Why We Fight". Only 5 more weeks 'till midterm elections and there needs to be a lot more outrage out there than there seems to be right now for the chips to fall the way they need to fall. Certainly, the network news isn't covering this topic like they ought to be; afraid of offending sponsor conglomerates I guess.
When I see 100% of anybody agree on anything I call bullsh!t.
Speaking of BS, one of today's new dvd releases is the 3rd season of Penn & Teller's Bullsh!t.

20 cow-paddys at BB...Be there or be square... :)

Funny, I call it "consensus".

There's your problem, that massager is getting you all worked up! You need to dial it down to "relax"... :D

FredProgGH - talk about screwy ratings, have a look at the IMDB ratings page for this movie . The Votes and Demographic graphs aren't even consistent with each other. What's up with this movie?

True, I can see people believing that instead of gravity pulling us, that outer space is pushing us down. ;)

I have to say that although I find most of their stuff dead on, I think a lot more people would actually be inclined to listen if they'd knock off much of the profanity.

I'm certainly no choir boy, but at least 90% of it seems to be totally unnecessary.

It's easy to lose the gist of what they're trying to say amidst the incessant barrage.

Has anyone seen this? Does the documentarian offer any suggestions about how the problems he sees should be corrected?

I would think the title of the DVD should be a dead giveaway on what to expect, Rammy! ;)

Consensus on the internet? Surely you jest.

Well, if the shoe fits....... and in this case it evidently does.

Yeah. I know. :)

It's not the excessive use of THAT word that gets to me, because it's used to drive the point they're making and it's more appropriate. It's those other, lewder 4-letter ones. It reminds me of some of the people I knew back in high school. ;) I had a friend where every other word was "f**in' A" this, and "f**in' A" that. But by the age of 18, most of us were over that stage - even him.

Oh well. I guess I'm just gettin' old. :D

It's not that hard to find 100%'s on Rotten Tomatoes. I tired a few. Casablanca - no. Patton yes, Stagecoach yes, High Noon - no. Raging Bull yes, The Graduate - no, Rocky yes. Rocky V - no.
"Rocky V" didn't score 100%?!? Scandalous!
