aroura bass shakers (how to hook up)

i have an extra 100 watt channel on a parasound hca1000, how many shakers can i hook up ?

do you hook them in phase?

I wonder too. I figured that if they are 4 ohms, I'd just run 2 in series (as I am now).


But is running 4 in series in parallel with 4 in series legit too? In, EE world, thats 8 ohms..

Optimally to use four bass shakers you would want to use something like a old pro logic receiver and run two through each channel in series. I use a pro logic receiver with two shakers per L/R output and take the receiver and have it hooked to the extra sub output on the sub for adding addintional sub in tandem. This way I get only 100Hz and under frequency (the sub is hooked to the LFE out on the DTS/DD receiver) going to the pro logic amp to produce.
