From the beginning of the format this was one studio that promised to release practically all of its big movies and that never followed through with most of them.
I got a D-Theater tape of Rambo First Blood where clips of the following movies are shown:
Basic Instinct
Reservoir Dogs
Total Recall
Dirty Dancing
Stargate and Terminator were also rumoured to be released and there was even a review of Basic Instinct in Widescreen Review.
So here we have 6 titles of high-profile movies that were announced but never made available until today.
Has there ever been an official or inofficial statement by Artisan or someone close to the company on this matter ?
