I am considering the new D80e from Sim2 to shoot on my Stewart Screen and without doing a huge amount of research I was hoping to tap into the AVS forums for some guidance. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. I am replacing a Samsung BDP1500.

You'll get 10 differant answers but the above link is a start. I personally have the Oppo BDP-83 which I am enjoying and hopefully in the near future I can check out the Denon DVD-A1UD.

Odd, one would think that Sony would have the best one since they had so much to do with the development of BluRay. I will be honest and say that I just heard of Otto here on this site for the first time. I will study this model now. Thanks for the quick response.

nowhere, they don't discount. Sold direct to you basically to save costs, though they do sell on amazon too, but for full price.
