Hello everybody!
I am planning to add an additional PCI Express graphics adapter to my Asus P5E-VM HDMI mainboard which has an Intel G35 chipset as integrated graphics adapter.
I would like to set the Intel G35 as the primary display and the PCI-E card as the secondary display (for a Silverstone HTPC case that has an integrated 7" display for using Windows MCE without having to turn on my projector, e.g. when I would only like to listen to MP3). The PCI-E card is Asus EAH2400PRO / HTP / 256M.
I couldn't find any options in the BIOS to use IGD as primary and PEG as secondary. I am afraid that I can only use one of them at the same time.
When I set the bios to PEG/IGD the Intel GA is deactivated and I can only see the PCI-E listed in the hardware manager. When I use IGD only as an option it's vice versa, Intel GA in hardware manager but no PCI-E card listed.
This seems to be a tricky one.
So, does anybody know how to run both Intel G35 and an additional PCI-E card as the secondary display?
Thanks for your hints and help!
Cheers,
Rory
