Yesterday, I bought a pair of Athena AS-F1 and Athena LS-C100 center channel to complete my 7.1 home theater (80% sports/10% movies/10% music). I'm extremely pleased with the sound, despite the fact I'm using cheap Sony surrounds. Today, I found a great opportunity to purchase a pair of Boston Accoustics Lynnfield VR-30's in great shape for $80 total.

I have a few options now:

1) Buy the BA's

a) Sell the AS-F1's, put the BA's in the front

b) Put the BA's in the front, AS-F1 as surround

c) Put the AS-F1 in the front, BA on the side

2) Don't buy the BA's

Any suggestions/thoughts?

Thanks!

Thanks, I appreciate the reply! Do you expect there to be an issue with using my athena center channel with the BA's? Or is speaker matching less of an issue than the salesman wants you to believe?

Thanks again!

Thanks again!

The center needs to voice match the front speakers - If you

like the Boston - then go to www.onecall.com and look at the

VRC center.
