ATI Control Panel: Switch Between Monitors Without Alert?

348 Views 4 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  SCM
I have a Sapphire 9600 SE. I have my monitor connected to one out on the card, and my projector connected to the other. When I power up the projector, Girder sends a Hotkey that triggers the card to switch output from the monitor to the projector. The only problem is that an alert message pops up wanting me to confirm the change. This really is a pain.

Is there a way to turn off the alerts?

Thanks.

Steve

you HAVE the answer -- use Girder to send a DIRECTED command to that popup window and answer it
In the graphics card control panel, under advanced options there's a button to disable all warning messages.

I think that should solve your problems.
Some older drivers (3.4, IIRC) did not have the annoying popup, and were quite good with my sapphire 9600... but they may not have all the features of the newer catalysts.

Yeah, I can do that, but I was hoping for this:

Thanks, jvincent. I hadn't found this but it is exactly what I'm looking for.
