I have a Toshiba 65HDX82 with a DVI input on it. My HTPC has a video card, the RADEON 9500, with DVI out. I also picked up the ATI DVI->component dongle.

I'm asking this question sight unseen because I have yet to finish my HTPC (still waiting on the Antec Fusion case to be released). Should I forgo the ATI dongle and just run DVI straight from the HTPC to the TV? If I do that, I was under the impression that I'd be limited to 480p for vertical resolution. Can someone confirm or negate that thought? If I can get higher resolutions (ideally something in the 1280x720p range) passing a digital signal straight to the TV I'd be very happy!!!

Thanks in advance for any insight!

Scott
