A few of us near Toronto met up at JVC Canada for a demo of the 150CL & SX21. I am sure there will be a seperate thread in this soon, so check in at the "> $5000 Projector Forum" for our thoughts on the SX21.

*** Now keep in mind our SX21 is an early propotype unit ***

I brought along my HTPC with ATI Radeon 7500 and latest Catalyst drivers & Powerstrip.

I connected the SX21 via DVI and we watched it at 1024x768, then 1280x1024 -> all fine & dandy. When I tried 1400x1050 I got a 1280x1024 physically display, but with a virtual desktop of 1400x1050.

Under the ATI Advanced Display properties, only the FPD section was active. It said "DLA-SX21" maximum resolution "1280x1024". I believe this is what induced the virtual dektop.

The question is, what is limiting the DVI outut ? Is the ATI card not capable of outputting higher DVI resolutions beyond 1280x1024 ?
