I've got all my parts now for my first HTPC, very excited, and I've done tons of research everywhere. However I have this question as it pertains to my particular setup and the release of ATI's 10.2 Catalyst drivers.
First my setup:
Case: Moneual 312
MB: Gigabyte GA-H55M-USB8 (microatx)
CPU: Intel core i3 530
VID: Radeon HD 5450
TV: SONY XBR4 52" 120Hz LCD
QUESTION IS: Will I still have to worry about screen tearing while watching 24fps content, 23.976fps movies, or 30fps TV captures to mkv... stuff like that?
The release notes of the CCC 10.2 drivers say 120Hz for all resolutions so.. will I still need displaychanger to change my refresh rate to prevent judder? Will I still need Reclock to get all my components on the same page timing wise?
Any clarification or advice is appreciated.
