Currenty running an NVidia Geforce4 Ti4400 and it's getting to be a dog since it's over 1.5yr old. I don't want to dump a lot of money into a new video card but I do want to be able to play games on my Hitachi 53" HDTV. I read somewhere a while back that you can software hack an ATI Radeon 9000 to be a 9500? Anyone have any links on how to do this or has anyone done it and how were the results? Also can I get the component video out adapter for this card?

THANKS!

I have a non-hacked ATI 9000 and I can run BF1942 at 1200x1600 with all the settings at 100% with no hint of slow down even during a large battle.

You can hack a 9500 non-pro version to a 9700. The 9000 uses a different GPU, so it is not possible.

Check out Rage 3D (rage3d.net) message boards for more info.
